So what are Promotional Beer Coasters?..... Beer coasters are a rather "Posh" name for Beermats.

Wikipedia the free Encyclopedia has no listing for beer coasters and defaults to beermats. Which is of no importance since we all know what a beer coaster is anyway.............But do we Really?

Beer coasters are pieces of absorbent card designed to prevent drips and spillages of liquids; and to protect tables and bars.

They are Promotional items given away free of charge by the brewery to all the venues selling their products, in order to make the landlords job easier in keeping both the tables and bar areas clean..........

They were truly advertising and Promotional marketing Guru's, for they realised that while people were relaxing their minds were most open to suggestion and this would be the perfect time to "persuade" them to buy more of their products. This is of course a form of subliminal advertising.



These promotional drinks coasters proved to be so successful that they have been the primary advertising media of the brewing industry for the more than 100 Years! They record a 11.1% swing to different products by simply advertising them on the promotional beer coasters or if you prefer promotional beer mats.

It's not surprising then that they print 1,700,000,000,000 promotional beer coasters every Year and "Give them Away"........
